What are Denver real estate agents expecting for 2012? Great things!

A fresh new year for the Denver housing market. Considering the natural progression that’s been unfolding before us and Denver real estate agents’ insights, here are some solid expectations for the coming year:

•More Foreclosures will be approved to enter the marketplace.

•Home prices are going to slowly begin to recover (since there was a dip the first half of last year, which then stabilized and balance by the end of 2011).

•There will be more Lease with an Option to Purchase opportunities (as it’s become a more popular alternative as many potential owners have low credit scores, a past foreclosure or short sale, or are just re-entering the job market).

•Banks are remaining stringent on lending – even if they now have the money to loan.

•With the low interest rates and prices, buyers still have the advantage to get a lot more house for the money!

We’re seeing that silver line increasing as time goes on in the housing market. So take heart! If you’re considering purchasing a home, then this is your year!
